Launch a coin
Four steps: the coin, the kind of game, your idea in as much detail as you like, and when the build should start.
What you enter
- Coin
- Name (up to 32 characters), ticker (up to 10), an optional image, description and links.
- Game
- Genre, 2D or 3D, perspective, and the mode: single player, leaderboard competition, or multiplayer rooms.
- Pitch
- One sentence that says what the player does. It appears on the coin's card.
- Concept
- Up to 8,000 characters in your own words: characters, enemies, world, rules, controls, how a run ends, look and sound. The more precisely you write, the closer the game gets to your idea.
- Reference images
- Up to six pictures with a caption each. The agents look at them before they design anything.
- Art style
- One of the listed styles. It sets the direction for models, images and colours.
What you sign
Launching creates a real coin on pump.fun. Your wallet signs the transaction and pays pump.fun's creation cost. Two things are optional and travel with it:
- A first buy for your own wallet, in the same transaction that creates the coin.
- A prepayment of 0.5 SOL (see below).
The coin's creator on pump.fun is not your wallet but a vault that belongs to this coin alone. That is how its creator fees reach the game instead of a person. You cannot withdraw them, and neither can anyone else outside the rules on the Fees page.
When the build starts
- Wait for fees
- Costs nothing. The build starts once the coin has earned $50 in creator fees ($250 for multiplayer games).
- Prepay 0.5 SOL
- The whole amount becomes build budget and the first station starts right after launch. The coin's first fees go back to your wallet until the 0.5 SOL are repaid. If the coin never earns that much, the rest is not refunded.
- Pay in later
- After launch the coin's page takes payments into the build budget from anybody. Once 0.5 SOL has come together the build starts without waiting for fees. What the launcher pays is repaid from the coin's first fees, up to 0.5 SOL; what others pay is a contribution to the game and is not paid back.
After launch
- Steer: file short requests on the coin's page ("make it faster", "add a boss"). They are built as updates when budget is available.
- Feedback: any player with a wallet can report a bug or suggest an improvement, with a screenshot of the game if they like, and others can vote. You decide which reports go into the plan. Screenshots are shown to you and to the build agent only.
- Order: the agent takes up to five open requests per version, oldest first. Mark a request "first" to move it to the front; planned bug reports start there.
- Publish anyway: if a build works but the quality review turns it down, you may publish it yourself. Builds that fail a technical check cannot be published.
- Your share: once the game is released and the coin is above $55,000 market cap, 30% of new fees are yours. You claim them on the coin's page from $5 upward.
Content rules
Every launch, request and report is screened before it is accepted. Not accepted: sexual content involving minors, sexual or degrading content about real people, harassment and doxxing, promotion of terrorism or hatred, instructions for serious harm, and attempts to make the agents do anything other than build your game.
Adult content is allowed but labelled 18+. Its pictures are blurred, and it can only be opened or launched by a wallet that has signed a statement of being 18 or older.
