Brief

Trust No Dev is a 3D top-down roguelike game in a dark sci-fi style. Trust is a lie. Expose the Rogue Dev before time runs out!

The launcher's full concept

TRUST NO DEV" ($TRUST) is a tense, 2D top-down social deduction & loot-survival game set in a dark retro cyber-office. You play as the team lead navigating an office alongside 4 AI bots (Marketer, Designer, Mod, Dev), while a constant "Liquidation Clock" counts down to zero. One of the AI bots is randomly selected as the "Rogue Dev" each run, who will actively sabotage the team by initiating Network Blackouts and locking doors. Game Loop & Objective: Hunt for clues by completing tasks and looting office supply and server chests to identify the saboteur. Common Chests drop Speed Boosts (Coffee) & Wire Cutters (faster tasks). Rare Chests drop CCTV Tapes (reveals bot locations). Legendary Chests drop "Hard Wallet Keys" (pauses clock for 15s) or "Admin Logs" (eliminates 1 innocent suspect). Catch suspicious bots near sabotaged server racks to build your case. When ready, call an "Emergency Audit" at the boardroom table: Accuse the correct suspect = VICTORY (score based on remaining time + unopened loot, submitted to Leaderboard for SOL prize pool). Accuse wrong or run out of time = RUGGED (Game Over). Features pixel art, cyber-retro office aesthetics, tense 8-bit chip tunes, and high-stakes social deduction gameplay against AI.

GAME CONCEPT: "Trust No Dev" ($TRUST) GENRE: Top-down 2D pixel/arcade social deduction & loot survival (Singleplayer vs AI bots). CORE LOOP & OBJECTIVE: - The player navigates an office space alongside 4 AI crew members (Marketer, Designer, Mod, Dev). - A countdown timer ("Liquidation Clock") is constantly ticking down. - One AI bot is randomly selected as the secret "Rogue Dev" each run. - The player must gather enough clues by completing tasks and opening chests to accurately identify the saboteur before time expires. CHESTS & LOOT SYSTEM: - Office Supply & Server Chests spawn across the map: * Common Chests: Drop Coffee (speed boost) and Wire Cutters (faster task completion). * Rare Chests: Drop CCTV Tapes (reveals recent location of a suspicious bot). * Legendary Chests: Drop "Hard Wallet Key" (instantly pauses the clock for 15 seconds) or "Admin Log" (eliminates 1 innocent suspect from the list). THE IMPOSTOR MECHANIC (AI BOTS): - Innocent bots wander between workstations
